There are several options to follow (our suggestion):

Walking: If you have a typical tour the streets of Coimbra, leaving the hotel turn right and go straight to the square of the toll (in front of the bridge of Santa Clara), then follow the pedestrian street (Rua Ferreira Borges) to find the first cut to the right (you will find the Arc de Almedina) move on to find a top university.

By public transport: Take the bus 1 A or 103 (next to the hotel only the bus 103 - across the street, near the Shopping Center Dinis) to the University and then to enjoy, you are advised to go to the foot the old town. On the bus "Pantufinhas" (passes in front of the church of Santa Cruz and the University).
